+ Juan C. Perez, Director of Transportation and Land Management

Juan was promoted to Director of Transportation and Land Management Agency in May 2012. He has been with the County for 14 years. The Agency has over 550 employees and oversees the Transportation, Planning, Code Enforcement, and Building and Safety functions for the unincorporated County.

Juan received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona in 1989, and is a Registered Civil and a Registered Traffic Engineer in the State of California. Juan also received his Master Degree in Education Leadership and Organizational Studies from Cal Baptist University in 2014.

He started his career in the private sector with various consulting firms providing municipal transportation services. Prior to coming to the County, Juan was employed by the City of Hemet for nine years, including the last four as the City’s Director of Public Works.
