BIS 2017 Is More Than Just a Trade Show

The Building Industry Show (BIS), has become the place for local professionals in the building industry to promote relationships, networking opportunities, and to come share their experiences with a vibrant community of general contractors, builders, and other supporting businesses, and the conference offers valuable resources and great business chances to position yourself.

Attendees of the November 15th and 16th 2017 show at the Orange County Fair and Events Center have the pleasure of running into their current colleagues, and enjoying the convenience of generating new opportunities and growing their business with people located right here in Southern California.

Last year’s show, which took place Wednesday, November 9th and Thursday November 10th, 2016 at the Riverside Convention Center by the Building Industry Association of Southern California, Inc. (BIASC), “Started the Conversation” by turning its focus towards education.

More than 1,500 attendees came to this year’s show not just to mingle with builders, catch up with professionals in the building industry, and discuss new job prospects, but to also participate in the show’s new format that sought to engage attendees with informative discussions.

The 2016 show evolved to do more than provide a place for building industry professionals to catch up with colleagues and discuss new job prospects. BIS included insightful Pop-Up Education presentations that covered a range of topics from discussions of how mobile apps are transforming home building; what you need to know about solar: code requirements to future trends; advanced framing techniques; minimizing costs & increasing efficiency; CEU workshops; to design trends for 2017 among other topics.

This year BIS is bringing attendees even more than the educational sessions, networking opportunities, and a trade show. The show will offer insight for the current landscape and the future of the industry. It’s a fun and insightful event for every level and section of the building industry.
